Registrations are open!

Registrations for Shift Hui 2017 are now open: shift.insideout.org.nz/form

Registrations close on the 17th March and we will contact you to let you know if you have a place by the 21st March. If you need to find out urgently (for example you need to book flights from Invercargill ASAP before prices go up) whether you can come, please contact us shift@insideout.org.nz and we’ll do our best to let you know sooner.

Due to a venue change this year, Shift only has space for 50 attendees and about 50 volunteers. These places will be allocated as fairly as possible across the regions in Aotearoa/New Zealand. We apologise in advance for any disappointment caused by the small numbers, but we are hoping to have some of the panels and workshops available through social media.

Thank you to everyone who made Shift Hui 2016 the magical experience it was Lots more to come over the next few days, but for now we send our love and well wishes for all the best recovering from the hui hangover!

Here is the timetable for Shift Hui 2016!

If you’re feeling nervous about coming along to Shift for the first time and you’re not sure what to expect, we recommend listening to this podcast of interviews with some of last year’s participants to hear a range of people’s experiences! One week and counting!

It’s the last day to register for Shift Hui 2016! Please get your registration in today at http://shift.insideout.org.nz if you haven’t already and check that your friends have done theirs!

It’s looking like we may have already hit capacity so any registrations that come in late will have to go on a wait list.

Everyone who has registered will receive an e-mail from us next week! :)

Don’t forget to register!

Just a reminder to register for Shift if you’re planning to come along - there is a limit to how many people we can have and a third of spaces are already full, so make sure you don’t miss out! :)  We will close registrations on 10th April.

If you need support with transport or have any questions don’t hesitate to get in touch - you can message our FB page, e-mail hello@insideout.org.nz or send an ask through tumblr!

Anonymous messaged: i run a QSA and a lot of the members are super keen for this hui because it sounds really cool - but I was wondering at what stage do registration forms etc. have to be in by?

Yay we look forward to having you along! If you can get registrations in by 10th April that would be great, though, the sooner the better!

Anonymous messaged: What time does it start?

The hui starts with a pōwhiri at 5pm on Friday 22nd April, though if you can be there a little bit before that to learn a waiata together that would be great. :)

Anonymous messaged: Do we stay at the marae overnight?

Yes we stay at the marae overnight - although if you live in Wellington and would prefer to go home in the evenings and come back in the mornings that’s totally okay too, you just need to let us know when you register/prior to the hui. :)
