Applications for Shift Hui 2018 are now open until 16th March: shift.insideout.org.nz/form
hi! yup email shift@insideout.org.nz xx
Registrations for Shift Hui 2017 are now open: shift.insideout.org.nz/form
Registrations close on the 17th March and
we will contact you to let you know if you have a place by the 21st
March. If you need to find out urgently (for example you need to book
flights from Invercargill ASAP before prices go up) whether you can
come, please contact us shift@insideout.org.nz and we’ll do our best to
let you know sooner.
Due to a venue change this year, Shift only has space for 50 attendees
and about 50 volunteers. These places will be allocated as fairly as
possible across the regions in Aotearoa/New Zealand. We apologise in
advance for any disappointment caused by the small numbers, but we are
hoping to have some of the panels and workshops available through social
media.

Registrations are opening Wednesday March 1st 2017 at 4pm!!!!
Check out our awesome art from Bo Moore!
Unfortunately our venue has fallen through for the planned dates of Shift! We hope to confirm the dates and venue ASAP but ask that you please avoid booking any travel to the hui in the meantime. Feel free to get in touch if you have any questions!
April 21st-24th in Wellington - save the dates
We will be opening registrations for Shift 2017 in early March!
Shift is a hui (gathering) for young people of minority sexes, sexualities and genders run by InsideOUT!
Join us for a weekend of making connections, learning about different
issues facing the rainbow community, taking part in workshops and
activities (talent show!) and gaining new skills and knowledge to help
you set up and/or sustain a queer straight alliance/diversity group in
your school or take other actions to make your school or community a
safer place. We want to see a shift in the dominant culture and see
Aotearoa New Zealand as a safe place for everyone, regardless of their
sex, sexuality or gender.

Thank you to everyone who made Shift Hui 2016 the magical experience it was! Lots more to come over the next few days, but for now we send our love
and well wishes for all the best recovering from the hui hangover!
